In 1864, astronomer Admiral W. H. Smyth's observations on the colours of stars was published in a book called Sidereal Chromatics. The book attempted to explain their nature, the effect of the Earth's atmosphere, and the possibility of change in colour due to 'Doppler Shift'. His summary on observing star colours has been reimagined by our designers to create this vibrant fine art print.
