About Us
The idea for Roomytown came when Lorena Siminovich (our Founder and CEO) found herself regularly redecorating her daughter Matilda’s bedroom as she reached each childhood milestone. From baby years to school years, Lorena wanted her room to reflect her unique spirit and changing interests, and each time, she found herself designing artwork for the walls herself...
With her background as a designer, illustrator and entrepreneur, Lorena figured it was time to make this artwork available to others and expand the offerings to create a kids art brand of her own - one that offers hand-picked, art-driven prints with real personality: Roomytown! Our fine art prints are giclée printed on 200gsm museum-quality paper sourced from sustainably managed forests. Our water-based inks are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and vegan friendly. The solid, high-quality wood we use to craft our frames and hangers has been selected by specialist picture framers and is sourced from sustainably managed forests.
We partner exclusively with trusted printers in the UK and USA, and automatically route orders to the best-suited print facility closest to the delivery destination, so not only do you receive your art prints faster, but it also reduces our carbon footprint as a business.
By printing on demand and making frames to order, we can ensure we are not overproducing products that could otherwise end up in landfill. Find out more about our sustainability efforts here.
Art Prints
Our art is giclée printed on museum-quality paper sourced from sustainably managed forests. Weighing 200 gsm / 80 lb, the paper we print on is long-lasting, making sure your art can be enjoyed for years to come. Our water-based inks are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and vegan friendly. Premium uncoated matte paper ensures that your art print doesn't look shiny when displayed on your wall.
The word “Giclée” is French for “sprayed ink.” Today, the term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions.
The trusted printing partners we work with produce all of our art prints using this printing method.
Giclée printing offers extra-fine image resolution, helping retain a higher degree of detail from the original fine art (which is particularly evident in our vintage sourced artwork)
Personalised Art Prints
Specific art prints on our site can be personalised. These are labelled with a 'personalise it' button on the product page. Clicking this button will open a new window where you can input your custom personalisation. You can view all prints that can be personalised here.
Our designers custom design your art print to add your personalisation. For this reason, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for the work to be completed. We do not send proofs before printing, so please be sure to double check that the information you input is correct - our handy preview window will allow you to see what your artwork will look like with the personalisation applied.
If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to contact us before you place your order, and we can give you a helping hand!
We work hard to get your art print to you as quickly as possible. For this reason, we send personalised art print orders to our printing partners around 1.5 hours after your order is confirmed. We want to make sure that you are happy with your Roomytown personalised art print, and we can accommodate changes to the personalised elements of your print, up to 1.5 hours after your order has been made. Please contact us via our contact form to do this. All our art is made to order. This means we are unable to amend or cancel your order if it has already been sent to our printing partners.
Unfortunately we are unable to make any changes once your order has been sent to our printers. Due to the fact our art prints are made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We do not send proofs of personalised prints before printing, so please be sure to double check that the information you input is correct - our handy preview window will allow you to see what your artwork will look like with the personalisation applied.

Art Print Sizes & Frames
Due to the intricate design of some of our art prints, or because of the size/resolution of the original art source (in the case of artist collaborations and vintage sourced art in particular), some art prints are not available in all the sizes listed below. This is to ensure we can offer the very best quality of print.

Yes, all our art prints come with the option to have them framed. It is not possible to order our Frames and Hangers without art prints in.
Our frames and hangers come in a choice of three colours (black, white, natural wood), in various sizes, and are made from high-quality wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Unlike cheaper off-the-shelf frames, the high-quality frames we use are all handmade, and art prints are backed with a strong board before being sealed into the frame by our specialists. These specialists are the same teams who provide framed art prints for the likes of the Natural History Museum, the British Library, The Tate and more, so your art prints are in great hands!

Yes. Our framed fine art prints are individually handmade to order by our specialist picture framing teams. When you order a framed fine art print from us, it will be delivered to you ready to hang, either fully strung or with a sawtooth hanger depending on the size.
Our frames and hangers are not toys. Please hang out of reach of babies and children.
One of the four wooden pieces has two tiny holes on the top. Thread the string through holes and tie a knot at the desired length. Cut any excess string.
Our frames and hangers are made of solid, high quality wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Our framed fine art prints are finished with lightweight, shatterproof perspex glazing (not glass). This glazing is industry standard for art prints designed for children, and will also give your art print more protection from UV rays. Our hangers include small magnets, please hang out of reach of babies and children.
Unfortunately we don't currently offer custom frame sizes. Select your desired art print size, and should you wish for it to come framed or with a hanger, select which design & colour you would like and we will automatically select the most appropriate size frame/hanger to fit your art print.

Orders, Shipping & Delivery
We are currently available in the UK and USA. We hope to be able to ship to more countries very soon. All orders will be automatically routed to the best-suited print facility closest to the delivery destination, so not only will you receive your art prints faster, but it also reduces our carbon footprint. Make sure you are subscribed to receive our emails so we can notify you as soon as we launch in new countries.
We accept a wide range of payment providers; Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Shopify Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Estimated shipping times are detailed below. After entering your shipping destination at checkout, you will be given the choice between Standard Shipping or Express Shipping.

*For personalised prints, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for our designers to add the custom personalisation to your art print.
Shipping costs are dependent on the delivery destination and will be automatically calculated at checkout once you have entered your shipping destination. You will be given the choice between Standard Shipping or Express Shipping. For certain products and destinations, both shipping options may not be available
Duties and taxes may apply if an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the UK or USA. These costs are not included in the final price at checkout. Import duties and taxes are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address, and you will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. Roomytown has no control over these charges and cannot predict the cost of these charges, since these depend on the shipping destination. You can contact your local customs office for more information.
We use local postal services and couriers for all deliveries. Please contact us via our contact form if you need to know which shipping provider we use in your area.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver to PO boxes, military bases, BFPO (British Forces Post Office) or APO (Army Post Office). In such cases, we ask you to please provide another residential shipping address.
You can rest assured that all our art prints are robustly packaged to ensure they arrive to you in the best possible condition.
Our unframed fine art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes unless they are A4 or smaller (in which case they are sometimes shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).
All framed art prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual padded guards added to each corner for extra protection. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
Order Amendments & Cancellations
It's important to us that we get your art print to you as quickly as possible. So we send all orders to our printing partners immediately after you confirm the order on our website. All our art is made to order (this helps us to reduce our waste). This means we are unfortunately unable to cancel your order if it has already been sent to our printing partners.
Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it is not possible to add more items to the order.
Returns & Exchanges
Unfortunately, due to the fact our art prints are made to order, we are unable to offer you a return or exchange for your prints. If for any reason you aren't happy with your print, please contact us via our contact form within two weeks of receiving your print and we will help fix the issue as best we can.
If your order arrived damaged, please contact via our contact form within two weeks so that we can send you a new one. Make sure to include an image of the damaged product as well as the damaged packaging, and your order ID number.
This doesn't happen often, but if you happen to receive a different Roomytown print or frame/hanger to the one you ordered, please contact us via our contact form within two weeks of receiving your order and we will arrange a redelivery for the correct items.
This is not the usual Roomytown experience, but accidents can sometimes happen during shipping. If your order arrived damaged, we are so sorry! Please contact us via our contact form within two weeks of receiving your order, so we can find the best solution for you. Make sure to include an image of the damaged product as well as the damaged packaging, and your order ID number. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on prints or frames, due to the fact they are made to order.
Other Questions
Make sure that you have entered the discount code with no extra spaces or punctuation. Our discount codes and offers can expire, and sometimes discount codes can't be used in conjunction with other offers, so make sure that all the discount code conditions are met. If you continue to experience problems, please get in touch with us via our contact form.
Yes, that is totally fine. Your Roomytown art print will not have a receipt or invoice inside the package. With our efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible, we send all order information and receipts via email. If you would like your order to be a surprise for the recipient, please ensure you use your email address on the order, and not the recipient's. That way your gift recipient will have no information emailed to them directly about the order, and you can keep it a surprise!
Unfortunately we are not able to include a gift note to accompany your order. We know that people love to send Roomytown art prints as gifts to their little loved ones, so we are working on ideas to make the gifting experience better.
